Nel 1953, pochi anni dopo la fine della seconda guerra mondiale, Lino Pierazzo decise di aprire un ristorante nel cuore di Venezia, fra piazza S. Marco ed il ponte di rialto; iniziando con il solo aiuto di sua moglie ai fornelli, è riuscito a creare uno dei ristoranti più popolari di Venezia. Oltre sessant'anni dopo, i suoi figli e suo cognato continuano il suo lavoro assieme ad un moderno staff di camerieri e cuochi.
